These included agreements on digital cross border industrial trade frameworks between Wah Nobel and MCCT International as well as JW Corporation and MCCT International. A separate cooperation agreement was signed among Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation POWERCHINA International and Pak China Investment Company Limited focusing on investment facilitation technical collaboration and joint development initiatives. Policy focused sessions featured briefings from federal and provincial authorities outlining mining regulations incentives and resource potential across Pakistan while Chinese enterprises shared technical presentations on geological cooperation and ongoing projects. The discussions highlighted growing interest in copper gold rare earths and other critical minerals linked to global energy transition demand.
Senior leaders from both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening strategic cooperation in the mineral sector through policy alignment technology transfer and sustainable practices. Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal highlighted tangible outcomes of China Pakistan Economic Corridor cooperation including infrastructure energy and industrial connectivity while noting China’s emphasis on small scale high impact development projects. Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong underscored China’s interest in responsible mining capacity building and technological innovation while stressing sustainability and community engagement. Energy Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik pointed to Pakistan’s push for value added mineral development regulatory strengthening and global supply chain integration drawing on joint ventures such as Saindak and Duddar.
