Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has underlined the importance of the timely implementation of ongoing and upcoming projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, describing efficient execution as essential for strengthening long term economic cooperation between Pakistan and China. During a high-level meeting in Islamabad, the prime minister highlighted that CPEC remains central to Pakistan’s development strategy and to the broader strategic partnership with China. He acknowledged China’s consistent support for Pakistan across economic and infrastructure sectors and stressed that the next phase of CPEC requires focused coordination to deliver practical outcomes. The discussion reflected Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring that development projects translate into tangible benefits for the economy, employment, and regional connectivity while reinforcing mutual trust between the two countries.
