China has unveiled a large scale industrial breakthrough in advanced materials production that could significantly reshape the global defence manufacturing landscape. A newly developed plasma based milling system is being described by researchers and industry observers as a potential leap forward in the production of ultra fine metallic powders, which are essential in the creation of next generation military systems.
